No man is an island...

As I reflect on the devastations in Japan, Libya and other countries, I find myself sobered by the short lifespan we have. "No man is an island", we are not alone, or disconnected. We need eachother, we need to hold onto to those we love and cherish our relationships with them.

"No man is an island entire of itself, every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main..any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore never send to know for whom the bells toll: it tolls for thee." John Donne

Do not let the pride of who you think you ought to be or your false sense of entitlement hinder you from reaching out to the people you love in your life.

The grace you extend to people may be the taste of forgiveness and hope they need to experience in their lives today.
